Dental Assistant

Udclinics is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients and supporting our dental team in delivering a seamless and comfortable experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, managing patient records, and maintaining sterilization standards. You will be an integral part of the patient care journey, helping to create a positive, welcoming environment and ensuring that each visit is efficient and stress-free.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative and surgical procedures.
  • Prepare examination and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials.
  • Manage patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of procedures and updating medical histories.
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments, treatment rooms, and equipment.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive dental health practices.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
  • Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and processing insurance claims, as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Dental Assistant certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or in a related role.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and terminology.
  • Familiarity with dental practice management software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
